Reform BC asks Prime Minster for source of Liberal Climate Action Dividend

Sovereign Hereditary Siyam Kiapalano(TM), Trustee for the (C)SQUAMISH(TM) Nation and his colleagues in the Federation of Sovereign Nations supports Reform BC in tracing the source of funds used by B.C. Liberal premier Gordon Campbell to pay a ‘Climate Action Dividend’ with $100 checks sent to individual B.C. residents. http://www.reformbc.net/

Reform BC notes that the $100 checks are drawn against a federal government account where all taxpayers have an equitable right to trace B.C.’s climate dividends or carbon taxes through the account’s two signatories, the Receiver General and the Deputy Receiver General for Canada.

The Reform Party is asking you to identify the source of the British Columbia Climate Action Dividend because we fear that the payments may be an attempt to enforce the future collection of carbon taxes through collateralized debt obligations on those who accept the $100 payment.

The Reform Party is also asking you to identify the authority used by the Liberal government of British Columbia to pay a Climate Action Dividend through a federal government account in order to ’sweeten’ the public into accepting a carbon tax which your government appears to believe (see quote above) would ’screw everybody across the country’.

Members of the Reform Party Board have not accepted what they consider to be a $100 bribe and further believe that properly-informed British Columbians will not be ‘bought’ by a Liberal climate-action dividend or persuaded by a Liberal climate-change fraud.

Reform BC leader David Hawkins, appreciates the support of Siyam Kiapalano(TM) in the Party’s efforts to trace the source of the Climate Dividend and to present a scientific, economic, legal and constitutional argument for the abolition of a Liberal carbon tax ’sold’ for a $100 with the spurious claim that anthropogenic CO2 is a principal component of harmful climate change.

On Friday, May 23, a force of approximately 16 taser-armed RCMP officers and band council police asked the Siyam Kiapilano to leave the Squamish Band Council Office lands, his grandfather’s land after a peaceful occupation at the Squamish band council office by Kiapilano and his supporters.

On Friday morning, May 23rd, Hereditary Squamish Siyam Kiapilano and a dozen supporters had swiftly occupied the offices of the state-funded “Squamish Band Council” in North Vancouver, and ordered the eviction of the entire band council members.

Siyam Kiapilano is leading a movement to expel agencies from his land who are responsible for the genocide of his people. In March, Kiapilano and Eagle Strong Voice (Kevin Annett) initiated these actions by posting eviction notices on the Roman Catholic, Anglican and United churches in downtown Vancouver, ordering them off Squamish land.

Siyam Kiapilano said in a statement in front of witnesses and Inspector RCMP Kennedy in a boardroom of the band council office, “Our people are starving, they’re living in dilapidated homes, and these so-called ‘chiefs’ [representing the colonial government] are doing nothing for them. Now ‘chief’ Bill Williams has signed a deal with the province [British Columbia] allowing privatization of natural resources to destroy Mother Earth. We’re here today to tell these fake leaders to leave, and we’re staying here until they’re gone.”

Gibby Jacobs a Band Council Member told Siyam Kiapilano that Byron Joseph was in the office and bolted for the door as the group entered the lobby. They proceeded up the stairs to Byron Joseph’s office and filmed the conversation. Byron was served with a filed Affidavit #2 that contains the Eviction Notice and Power of Attorney of the Lands and asked to correct some checks that were fraudulently issued to the name “Gerald Fred Johnston” which is a fictitious Name that was created by INAC to take away Siyam’s Kiapilano aka CHIEF CAPILANO’s right of claim to the title of the Squamish Nation Lands.

Byron was nervous with the cameras on him and bolted with the served papers to another room and locked it. A woman from the RCMP detachment left that room and called for security back up. Byron emerged from the office shaken but confident to move forward knowing that the RCMP were on their way. The group was ushered into the boardroom and the discussions commenced. In front of RCMP Richard Kennedy, Byron Joseph was served with a document called the Land Agreement between the Squamish Nation and the Minister of Lands and Agriculture signed by elected puppet ‘chief’ Billy Williams and Minister Pat Bell of the BC Government. Irene-Peace: Kiapilano(TM) asked if he knew about this document, Byron said he did not and advised that he would accept service of this document on behalf of Billy Williams. Irene served RCMP Richard Kennedy with a copy of this agreement and requested for a full investigation of the fraud and Copyright Trademark Name protection that was violated to the Squamish(TM) Nation Name. Chief Kiapilano then informed Byron Joseph and his staff to leave the premises, and announced his intention to change the locks on the building.

“We’re consulting our [colonial] lawyers” announced Byron Joseph, just before he and his advisors left the boardroom. “Chief Kiapilano declared a common law jurisdiction over this building, and has reclaimed it for all of his people”, said Irene Peace Kiapilano. “We call on all hereditary chiefs to stand beside us and reclaim their land and government from a foreign jurisdiction.” A lawyer from Ratcliff & Company, North Vancouver sneaked into the building and occupied the office next door to the boardroom and ordered Byron back into the boardroom. Byron as a dutiful slave to the Queen’s army asked the Chiefs to leave.

Then Irene and Jeff were separated from the Chiefs and the witnesses and she could not re-enter the building as the RCMP blocked the door. As Irene waited with her witness outside she began to drum. The RCMP officers did not like to hear the drums and went inside the building. An undercover police officer put on his bullet proof vest and entered the building. The chiefs and the witnesses were escorted peacefully outside of the building and asked to leave the premises.

Siyam Kiapilano saw the RCMP prepare their tasers in the room next door to the boardroom through a reflection of the glass door and realized that the safety of the witnesses were compremised so with Red Jacket and the camera armed witnesses they left the building peacefully. Inspector Kennedy was served with a copy of the eviction notice on Byron Joseph and the band council and he had accepted it. Kennedy said the federal Minister of Justice did not recognize the filed Affidavit and the Statutory Declaration.

Chief Kiapilano and his supporters were then physically forced from the building under threat of immediate arrest, and escorted off Siyam Kiapilano’s grandfather’s land by a line of RCMP vehicles.

Native elders from the Downtown Eastside Womens’ Centre showed up to support Siyam Kiapilano. They were verbally threatened, photographed and ordered to leave by the security forces hired as the Squamish Security and the RCMP squad.

Before leaving, Siyam Kiapilano declared three times to the RCMP and band councillors that his eviction order remains in effect. He and his people would return to enforce the order and remove the [illegal] Squamish band council members from office.

“We offered them peace and friendship and they responded with violence” said Chief Red Jacket of Turtle Island, a participant in the occupation. “In our law, when that happens, all we have left is to take the next step. We are not war minded people.”

Siyam Kiapilano has asked Irene to proceed with communications to RCMP Kennedy about the Fraud that was committed upon the Lands by Billy Williams who signed the deal with the BC Government and RATCLIFF & Company who are the legal advisors for the Squamish Band Council Members and INAC. Further actions against the government agencies responsible for the ongoing genocide of the Squamish people will continue on Sunday, June 1 at 10 am at the former “holy rosary catholic church” at Dunsmuir and Richards in downtown Vancouver. It is now an open community space under the Supreme Common Law Jurisdiction of the Squamish Nation and the Indepenedent Sovereign Government lead by Siyam Kiapilano.

They held a smoking ceremony to “claim the land”, while police stood nearby without taking action. Ngunnawal tribe spokeswoman Isobel Coe told police they were claiming back their land.

Unlike in Canada, when a group of elders attempt to reclaim their land, the government elected “spokesperson” for the corporate band always denounces the actions of the Indigenous peoples as their mandate is in cooperation with the INAC (Indian and Northern Affairs Canada).

“We are Aboriginal people and we have come here to claim our land,” Ms Coe was overheard telling police. “If you are going to treat us like trespassers you will have to arrest us and take us to jail.
“We are claiming our land and that’s what our sacred fire means.”

I would easily agree with Wesley J. Smith if the Swiss were going around jailing people for cutting down dandelions, picking a few tulips for the vase, or ripping out a ripe radish for your salad, but I think their report titled “The Dignity of Living Beings with Regard to Plants,” stems far beyond the limited and agenda influenced eye of The Weekly Standard.

The world is in a state of corporate catastrophe. Bulldozers destroy hundreds of acres of land simply to reach a development site. Water tables are polluted beyond a living organisms hope of sustaining life just to extract a few barrels of oil. Pesticides are sprayed in blankets eradicating everything in their path, except the ones that are “genetically designed” to withstand their chemical concoction.

In defense to Paul Watson, the Sea Shepherd who describes human beings as being the “AIDS of the Earth.” He further adds to the quote “Our viral like behaviour can be terminal both to the present biosphere and ourselves. We are both the pathogen and the vector. But we also have the capability of being the anti-virus if only we can recognize the symptoms and address the disease with effective measures of control.” Paul Watson is guilty of stopping thousands of illegal fishing boats that send thousands of miles of hooks and line across ocean waters killing tens of thousands of fish each day (all species not just shark). This illegal fishing is not stopped by what we call “third world” countries, provides a large influx of capital to those who have next to nothing. If you’re worried about the Sea Shepherd wiping out humanity, I tell anyone influenced by Wesley J. Smith’s article not worry about what Mr. Paul Watson, head of the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society says or does. If you wanted something to worry about, worry about people like Dr. Eric R. Pianka, Bill Gates, John D. Rockefeller, Hillary Clinton (if she makes it to office) and even those who operate the World Bank. These are the people and organizations that have the greatest amount of control over populations and have publicly admitted that there are too many people on this planet. The world bank is starving countries, third-world countries are granted loans that they can not afford, they contain unheard of conditions that take over their land, prohibit them from farming their own food, and in some cases, taxing the water which falls from the sky.

Dr. Henry Kissinger wrote: “Depopulation should be the highest priority of U.S. foreign policy towards the Third World.”

The Swiss are just trying to make people aware of their actions, that this world we live in is in fact a living organism in itself, connected to all forms of life. Why should life be taken for from it for no reason? If it is not feeding you, sustaining you, why destroy it? To make Q3 numbers for stakeholders?

The corporation is not sustainable, especially when anything (living or inanimate) that stands in its path is a commodity they can do with as they please. If anything comes of the “The Dignity of Living Beings with Regard to Plants,” by the Swiss Federal Ethics Committee, then I hope it is simply to protect the genetic traits of these plants by banning any type of manipulation by corporations who simply want to patent, control and “improve” these species for profit.

Improve? Excuse me. Look at Monsanto and the disaster they have created with the Corn and Canola. US corn is banned in many countries across the world because it’s basically a horrible science project gone wrong. Many people have shown allergic and sometimes fatal reactions to these GMO crops. Have you ever eaten an Apple that is local and organically grown, then had one that isn’t organic or came from 3000 miles away? It’s like eating a ball of watered down cardboard. Not to mention the nutrients are not even there. When Biotechnologists say they wish to “improve crop yields” they simply mean bigger, tasteless, less-nutritious foods that wont spoil as fast when their picked raw 3000 miles from you and trucked over by huge diesel guzzling 18-wheelers, and ripened with a dose of nitrogen.

People need to start walking up, stop taking needlessly, this abundance which we have been used to is slowly disappearing. If “The Dignity of Living Beings with Regard to Plants” short circuits your brain, then we’ll see how your brain is functioning after the only nutrient-deficient food you can get at the grocery store is called by a brand name (®MonsterGene’s Golden Delicious™), not a fruit or vegetable.

We are shocked and disgusted by an article that appeared this week in the west coast magazine “The Tyee“, authored by Terry Glavin. This article is nothing more than a racist denial of the claims of residential school survivors that children died and were buried in mass graves across Canada.

The article is also a scathing and unsubstantiated personal attack on the one caucasian man who has fought consistently and with great self-sacrifice for residential school survivors in Canada, Reverend Kevin Annett, who has been given the sacred name Eagle Strong Voice by our elder and IHRTGC judge Chief Louis Daniels, and adopted by him into the Anishinabe Nation. We therefore consider any attack made upon Reverend Annett to be an attack on the Anishinabe people, and on us.

We consider The Tyee to have violated and dishonoured our people by printing this hateful and misleading article, and we demand its formal retraction and the public censure of Terry Glavin by the magazine and by all concerned citizens.

Until The Tyee takes these steps, we call upon all people to boycott this publication.

For generations we have fought against the kind of ignorance and racism spouted by Mr. Glavin, who is basically calling our people liars.

For example, Glavin insultingly refers to eyewitnesses’ accounts of residential school graves as “urban legends … like alligators in New York sewers” (!).

In effect, Glavin is saying that there are no mass graves of native children, when the very body he claims to support - the government’s “Truth and Reconciliation Commission” - has already cited evidence that children in these schools were buried “four or five to a grave”.

This is not an “urban legend”, as Glavin sarcastically claims. This is the truth, as witnessed by Sylvester Greene, who personally buried an Inuit child at the United Church school in Edmonton in 1953; or William Combes, who saw a priest bury a child at the Kamloops Catholic school in 1964.

Is Glavin calling these men liars? Why has he not interviewed them, and given their story the same exposure as he has his hatred against Reverend Annett?

And why does Glavin falsely claim that the RCMP have “investigated” these claims and “found nothing”? This is an outright lie, for on countless occasions, we have taken this evidence to the RCMP, who have flatly refused to investigate. For they, like Mr. Glavin, are actively concealing this crime of genocide against our people.

With typical colonial arrogance, and speaking in the same tongue as our church and government abusers, Terry Glavin states that all our claims are already known, and that the history of the residential schools is not hidden. What a lie this is! The real story of these schools has only begun to be told, as is evident in Glavin’s and The Tyee’s refusal to reprint or comment on any of the evidence of murders, forced sterilizations and mass graves that we have submitted to them over the past four years.

Rather than help our people, Terry Glavin engages in the worst kind of character assassination and yellow journalism by attacking Rev. Annett personally, belittling and mocking the physical attacks made against him, and subjecting him to the same kind of cruelty that has been inflicted on him by those in church and state who are responsible for the torture and death of our children in residential schools. We therefore must ask if Glavin is working for these same destructive parties.

We are especially appalled that Glavin is posing as a “supporter” of our people while conducting such a hateful and destructive assault on our work and the word of residential school survivors. Lacking the honesty or courage to attack us directly, Glavin targets Reverend Annett, who he portrays as being the author of the claims of murder and mass burials at residential schools.

Let this be clear: the claims that Glavin is attacking concerning the murder and burial of residential school children do not emanate from Kevin Annett, but from hundreds of eyewitnesses who saw these killings, participated in burying children, or personally experienced the brutalities documented so accurately by Reverend Annett since 1996. Reverend Annett is simply the messenger of these accounts.

In that regard, we stand by every statement made by Reverend Annett concerning crimes in Indian Residential Schools, and we challenge Mr. Glavin and The Tyee to refute them with evidence of their own.

In addition, on March 16, 2008, Reverend Annett was appointed as the personal agent of hereditary Squamish Chief Kiapilano, on whose land Mr. Glavin lives and The Tyee is published. We therefore consider Terry Glavin and The Tyee to have violated their occupancy of Chief Kiapilano’s land, and Chief Kiapilano’s hospitality, and we call upon both Terry Glavin and The Tyee to vacate Squamish territory immediately.

Let us conclude by saying that we consider Terry Glavin’s article to be an outright assault on all residential school survivors and their struggle to be heard and believed. Glavin and The Tyee have set back the clock and added to the crushing burden on our people by undermining that struggle.

We insist that, once it has relocated, The Tyee immediately open its pages to those residential school survivors who can speak of the murders they have witnessed, and the burial sites they know exist. If it refuses to, we must assume that the Tyee endorses the racist and irresponsible garbage written by Terry Glavin.

We call upon the world to endorse our condemnation and expulsion of Terry Glavin and The Tyee, and to boycott this magazine and person.

President of Bolivia Evo Morales has outlined a real plan to the UN on Tuesday to rescue the world from environmental degradation, overconsumption, capitalism and injustice.

The Bolivian leader urged the world to “put an end to the exploitation of human beings and the pillage of natural resources” by rejecting free-market theory and reallocating the money spent on war to fighting environmental and climate problems. In other words, the war between humans and the planet.

VOICE OF ZAA NKWETA, PRESENTER: At the United Nations on Monday, the opening ceremony for the Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues was addressed by Bolivian President Evo Morales. Morales, an Aymara Indian, drew on his experiences as an indigenous leader to outline his plan to save the planet.

EVO MORALES AYMA, BOLIVIAN PRESIDENT (SUBTITLED TRANSLATION): If we want to save the planet earth, to save life and humanity, we have a duty to put an end to the capitalist system. If we do not put an end to the capitalist system it’s impossible to imagine that there will be equality and justice on this planet earth. This is why I believe that it is important to put an end to the exploitation of human beings and to put an end to the pillage of natural resources; to put an end to destructive wars for raw materials and for the market; to the plundering of energy, particularly fossil fuels; excessive consumption of goods and the accumulation of waste. The capitalist system only allows us to heap up waste.

NKWETA: The Bolivian president also proposed that money spent on war should instead go to repairing the world’s rapidly deteriorating environment.

MORALES: We would also like to propose that the trillions of money earmarked for war should be channeled to make good the damage to the environment, to make reparations to the earth.

NKWETA: Morales also spoke out against using crops to produce biofuels, saying that biofuels are increasing the cost of food.

MORALES: The price of food has gone up tremendously, especially wheat, as well as bread. In Bolivia we are having inflationary problems, but this is not an internal problem, because its an external problem. This morning I was saying, for once I agree with the World Bank and the IMF. They say that this story of biofuels is going to raise food prices.
