A proposed jumbo pipeline that will cut through preserved, unseeded Lubicon territory in the North of ALBERTA will not only carry natural gas from Mackenzie Valley to the oil sands developments in the east, it will also violate the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples.

A $983 million proposal will devastate all kinds of wildlife, traditional hunting grounds, trapping areas and not to mention put the already troubled bear population at more risk.

Again we see the same issue with many nations across the world. The Lubicon Lake Indian Nation is a CORPORATION under the INAC and INDIAN ACT and will have no rights unless they are given to them by their superiors.
